Advise clients on contested probate, wills, trusts, estate, and personal representative disputes. Handle negotiation, mediation, litigation, client meetings, strategy, costs, drafting, court documents, counsel instructions, settlement, and trial preparation. Manage a varied caseload, maintain strong client relationships, record time, bill promptly, support business development, and collaborate with private client, property, and dispute resolution teams.

Handle privately funded criminal, motoring, victims’ rights, regulatory, and professional discipline matters. Responsibilities include client advice, police station and court work, case strategy, drafting, advocacy, instructing counsel, negotiations, investigations, and file management. The solicitor will manage a varied caseload, provide clear and discreet advice, develop client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the Criminal Law team.

Manage a diverse private client caseload with autonomy, advising clients on wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney, estate planning, elder law, tax planning, Court of Protection matters, and charitable giving. Prepare legal documents, maintain Lexcel and SRA compliance, conduct risk assessments, manage files, record time, bill promptly, and pursue business development through presentations, seminars, and cross-selling. Contribute to team collaboration and ongoing professional development.

Manage a broad range of commercial dispute resolution matters, including contractual, shareholder and director disputes, debt recovery, injunctions, and regulatory or compliance-related disputes. The solicitor will work closely with the Commercial Litigation Partner, manage matters with appropriate supervision, build client relationships, contribute to strategic decision-making, and develop their practice within a collaborative, flexible working environment.
