Build and own IG Group’s platform reliability capabilities across AWS, Kubernetes, Nomad, and hybrid infrastructure. Develop observability, SLOs, error budgets, CI/CD safety mechanisms, self-healing automation, and chaos experiments. Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for IG Group’s data products and platforms. Collaborate with data engineering, data science, architecture, infrastructure, product, and business stakeholders to prioritize capabilities, manage dependencies, improve delivery practices, and drive adoption of data tools. Translate technical concepts for varied audiences, define success metrics, engage vendors, and guide iterative development of a scalable data ecosystem using cloud data platforms.

Own and modernize IG’s Akamai edge delivery estate by migrating configuration to Terraform, building GitLab CI/CD self-service workflows, and automating API-driven operations. Manage routing, DNS, caching, redirects, traffic management, security controls, certificates, observability, and incident diagnosis across global staging and production environments. Partner with application teams and platform stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, high-performance edge infrastructure under formal change-control processes.

Owns the Group’s month-end close and multi-currency consolidation in HFM, manages interim and year-end reporting, reviews reporting outputs, prepares financial management information and cash flow analysis, supports statutory reporting and controls, and partners with international stakeholders and auditors. The role also drives finance process improvements, maintains consolidation metadata and chart of accounts, and acts as financial controller for selected holding companies.

Owns the performance, optimisation, experimentation, compliance, and configuration of a live conversational AI agent in a high-volume regulated environment. The role manages the optimisation backlog, analyses customer journeys and root causes, defines thresholds and escalation rules, validates new capabilities, and holds the platform partner accountable for delivery and outcomes.

Owns IG Group’s data privacy program, including privacy governance, DPIAs, RoPA, DSARs, retention, cross-border transfers, breach reporting, regulatory engagement, privacy-by-design advice, incident management, training, and data risk. The role partners with Legal, Risk, Compliance, HR, Procurement, Technology, and Product teams across a multinational regulated organization.
