Lead complex Payments and Core Banking technology transformation programmes from strategy and mobilisation through implementation. Own scope, milestones, investment, benefits, risks and delivery confidence while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and executives. Manage migrations, platform modernisation, operational resilience, regulatory requirements, security and controls. Establish effective governance, resolve dependencies and communicate clear executive-level progress and decisions across complex banking technology environments.

Provides administrative support for the Reward team, including reward planning, cyclical activities, projects, HR system maintenance, pay and grading data management, documentation, reporting, and query resolution. The role also supports process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and timely delivery of reward-related activities while maintaining appropriate controls and a positive colleague experience.

Leads Business Credit Risk strategy, risk appetite, lending standards, assurance, and portfolio oversight for business banking. Provides forward-looking analysis of sector, market, macroeconomic, impairment, capital, and stress-testing risks to senior executives and Board governance. Oversees independent credit assurance, regulatory and audit evidence, change initiatives, and multidisciplinary specialist teams while supporting sustainable lending growth and effective risk management.

Supports the Reporting Change Team in delivering Data Lake features, regulatory reporting requirements, and platform enhancements. Coordinates Agile ceremonies, delivery plans, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and decisions across Finance, Data Engineering, Technology, and Change teams. Builds stakeholder relationships, supports continuous improvement, and helps deliver strategic finance reporting outcomes in an evolving environment.

Identifies and evaluates emerging technologies, develops Technology Radar insights, and produces recommendations, white papers, and thought leadership for senior stakeholders. Supports partnerships with vendors, FinTechs, consultancies, research organisations, and academic institutions. Helps manage innovation initiatives from idea intake and prioritisation through proof-of-concept development, evaluation, risk assessment, and outcome communication. May contribute to prototypes and customer-facing technology concepts while aligning innovation activity with business, regulatory, commercial, and customer needs.

Provides in-branch, telephone, and digital banking support to customers. Responsibilities include handling transactions and queries, recommending suitable banking products and services, protecting customer information and funds, following processes, escalating concerns, and collaborating with branch colleagues.
