Coordinate and deliver technical assurance and requirements management for HS2 track infrastructure. Maintain the technical requirements baseline, elicit system/subsystem requirements, support V&V and progressive assurance, prepare stage-gate assurance packs, track assured deliverables and certification, and assist readiness assessments and interdisciplinary design reviews.

Support delivery of system safety for HS2 track design: identify hazards, assess risks, define safety requirements, assist safety case development, perform analyses (FTA, FMEA, PHA), ensure regulatory compliance, participate in incident investigations, and report to the lead systems safety engineer.

Manage and coordinate design interfaces between contractor systems and other HS2 contractors and the client. Maintain Interface Control Documents, implement interface management plans, support RAM, system safety, interoperability, and security processes, coordinate supply chain and delivery, chair integration meetings, and provide technical input during design, construction and handover.

Support MEP and CMS design coordination for HS2 track slab across design and construction phases. Review drawings, liaise with consultants/subcontractors, track actions, ensure compliance with standards and CDM, monitor progress, support technical assurance, and provide technical input to commercial and construction teams.

Support Talent Team with recruitment administration, candidate communications, onboarding, ATS/Workday data entry, pre-employment checks, recruitment reporting, and training & development activities as part of a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship.

The Senior Planner will manage project schedules, coordinate with teams, oversee planning workshops, and mentor junior staff for large-scale projects.
