Leads complex pension risk transfer transaction implementations and client servicing for defined benefit schemes. Provides expertise across regulatory, legal, reinsurance, product, and operational matters; supports RFQs, pitches, onboarding, governance, and post-implementation reviews. The role engages trustees, sponsors, advisers, administrators, and internal stakeholders while developing pensions transition capabilities across the team.

Manage day-to-day relationships with insurance clients, resolve enquiries, provide investment product and market insight, support client meetings, coordinate cross-business projects, and produce client reporting. The role requires strong institutional investment knowledge, including credit, private markets, and LDI, alongside excellent communication, organisation, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management. The manager will also identify client risks and opportunities, support audit and operational meetings, mentor colleagues, and promote positive client outcomes.

Build and maintain pricing, risk, portfolio construction and analytic tools for derivatives and derivative strategies. Model risks across fixed income and other assets, support portfolio managers with analysis, participate in IT and process projects, and ensure instruments are priced and reported in line with market conventions.

Develop, enhance and test Python-based financial models for fixed income and pension liabilities, portfolio optimisation, risk analytics and capital modelling; improve tooling, automate processes, support investment teams and resolve platform issues.

Provide middle-office oversight for corporate actions and securities lending lifecycle. Manage outsourced provider performance, monitor KPIs/KRIs, perform entitlement calculations and reconciliations, support front-office execution, mitigate operational and counterparty risk, drive stakeholder engagement, and improve automation, controls and regulatory compliance.

Lead systems change for Defined Benefit pensions administration: translate complex scheme rules into specifications, oversee testing and controlled releases, improve processes, lead a small technical team, collaborate with business and technology partners, and share actuarial and data expertise across the Pension Risk Transfer business.

Lead a team building and supporting financial models (asset modelling, economic capital, market/credit risk, stress testing) using C++ and Python; translate business and risk requirements into technical designs, improve model production processes, drive delivery of modelling projects, and coach developers.

Provide sales support and client service to institutional and wholesale clients across MEA and Italy. Manage client enquiries, prepare pitch materials, coordinate cross-functional delivery, support sales activity, and build deep knowledge of L&G funds and market trends.

Monitor and oversee asset allocation, exposures and flows across the matching portfolio. Commission and steer development of monitoring tools, aggregate data sources, calculate bespoke metrics, provide portfolio updates and propose actions. Collaborate with Operations, Quantitative Developers, ALM, Asset Management and Finance to enhance analytics and ensure tactical portfolio optimisation within mandates and risk limits.

Lead and coordinate Global Financial Institutions relationships to grow AUM and revenue. Build global action plans, collaborate with regional distribution and product teams, support C-suite interactions, and drive approval and distribution of active, passive, and private market products.
