Provides second-line oversight of consumer and small-business credit risk across lending products. Own Monzo’s global transfer pricing operations, policies, calculations, documentation, and intercompany agreements. Lead Master Files, Local Files, and Country-by-Country Reporting across jurisdictions; advise Finance, Legal, Treasury, Product, and business stakeholders; support international expansion and cross-border structuring; and manage transfer pricing tax authority enquiries and audits. The role requires a qualified accountant or tax advisor with strong transfer pricing expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Lead complex, company-wide technical programmes across Operations, product, engineering, risk, compliance, and senior leadership. Responsibilities include defining roadmaps, milestones, priorities, dependencies, and risks; removing blockers; driving technical and organizational change; improving operational effectiveness; and ensuring adoption and measurable outcomes across multiple teams and markets.

Acts as a first-line risk and controls partner for Payments, advising Product, Engineering, and Operations on risk assessments, governance, regulatory and scheme obligations, incidents, remediation, resilience, customer outcomes, audits, and assurance. The role strengthens scalable control environments, supports strategic change, translates requirements into practical actions, and provides clear risk insight to leadership, auditors, and regulators.

Conduct third-party and supplier security assurance, security control testing, PCI DSS assessments, regulatory reviews, and audits. Evaluate security evidence, identify risks and control gaps, improve policies and governance, support security inquiries, and advise engineering and product teams on secure changes. The role also drives remediation, process automation, risk prioritization, and continuous improvement while mentoring less experienced analysts.
