As a Quant Developer at Man Group, you will build new alphas and trading strategies, collaborating with Quant Researchers in a dynamic tech environment for systematic trading.

Translate strategic objectives into project plans, manage third-party research providers and commercial negotiations, track agreements and spend against budget, provide monthly project/status reporting, support prioritisation and resource allocation, liaise with stakeholders (research, technology, compliance, legal), and support business and financial planning.

Support, configure and maintain the Finance and People SaaS estate (Workday plus other tools). Own BAU support, build and troubleshoot integrations (Workato/APIs), apply AI tooling like Claude Code to automate and prototype, and deliver durable process, control and change-management improvements.

Manage end-to-end production of data and research budgets, cost allocation models and month-end processes. Produce management reporting, variance analysis and presentation packs. Ensure controls, data integrity across Workday/MDM, approve invoices, partner with stakeholders on allocation methodologies, and drive continuous process improvements.

Support financial control and reporting for UK and select overseas subsidiaries: month-end accounting, reconciliations, statutory and regulatory reporting, tax returns, board reporting, auditor liaison, process ownership (e.g., fixed assets, transfer pricing), cross-team coordination, process improvement, and mentoring junior staff.

The role involves researching and trading alpha signals for futures and FX, including data handling and portfolio construction, while collaborating with teams.
