Design and own electrical architectures and bespoke PCBs for defence platforms: component selection, ECAD layout, cable harnesses, communication interfaces (CAN/Ethernet/RS422/485), simulation (LTSpice), testing, integration, and documentation from requirements through validated prototype.

Build and iterate flight-ready UAV prototypes by designing, fabricating, and integrating airframes, wiring, power and avionics. Configure and troubleshoot autopilots (PX4/ArduPilot), run bench and field test campaigns, collect telemetry, refine CAD/FEA models, and remove integration bottlenecks to keep the developmental fleet operational.

Build and maintain high-fidelity simulation environments (6-DOF, aerodynamics, structures, engagement-level), run Monte Carlo and sensitivity analyses, validate models against flight/test data, support design trade studies and flight/range testing, and build tooling/infrastructure to make simulation accessible across engineering teams.

Develop computer vision models for object recognition and video understanding while evaluating and improving their performance for real-world applications.

Lead and implement architecture and code for resilient backend systems, embedded hardware, secure networking, and ML inference at the tactical edge. Mentor engineers, run code review and RFC processes, optimise performance and reliability, and drive cross-team technical initiatives from prototype to production.
