Leads WaterAid International’s global assurance framework, providing independent assessments of governance, risk management, internal controls, audit effectiveness, accreditation, and financial crime prevention. The role develops audit plans, delivers assurance opinions to senior leadership and the Board, supports member countries with fraud investigations and risk management, and strengthens assurance practices across a complex international federation.

Chair the WaterAid International Board and provide inclusive, mission-driven governance to advance global access to safe and sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene. The voluntary role requires approximately 0.5–1 day per week, or 25–35 days annually, for a four-year term with a possible four-year extension.
