As a Staff/Senior AI Engineer, you will develop production-ready coding agents and improve AI model capabilities for JetBrains' software development tools. Collaborating with teams, you'll focus on model training, evaluation, and product integration to enhance user experience.

Develop and ship features for Junie across CLI and model integrations, experiment with model setups and ensembling for cost-quality tradeoffs, build and test autonomous agent behaviors for long-term maintenance, and own projects from research to production while using Junie daily to iterate on quality and UX.

Identify workflow gaps, set roadmaps, explore cross-IDE and AI-native review opportunities, align stakeholders, and work with engineering and QA to deliver scalable, platform-friendly solutions while representing the product externally.
