Lead Chaucer Technology Group's engineering function, define strategy and roadmaps, oversee technical delivery and operations (network, cloud, storage, security, software), manage internal and third-party teams, ensure risk mitigation, vendor governance, stakeholder alignment, and drive engineering excellence and DevSecOps practices across the organisation.

Prepare syndicate reporting to Lloyd's (QMB, Solvency UK/II, US/Canadian situs, RRQ/RRA), annual and underwriting year financial statements, analytics and commentary. Liaise with finance, underwriters, actuaries and auditors; produce analytical tools/memos; support audits and ensure timely, accurate reports and management review.

Support exposure management for Political Violence and Political/Credit Risk by capturing, cleansing and structuring exposure data, validating aggregation and modelling tools, monitoring accumulations, producing analytical reports, resolving data quality issues, and supporting underwriters and reporting requirements.

Design and govern enterprise-scale data architectures and pipelines across operational and analytical domains. Ensure data products align to standards and strategy, support cloud migration to Azure and Snowflake, provide architecture assurance, chair Data Design Authority, embed governance and MDM, and enable data readiness for AI/ML initiatives while liaising with business and delivery teams.

Responsible for quantitative oversight in risk management, including model validation, reserving processes, and regulatory compliance related to capital assessment and risk.

Responsible for actuarial pricing across Partnership and Innovation portfolio. Provide account pricing, broker support, portfolio monitoring, pricing model/tool development, analytics, and project leadership while collaborating with underwriters and pricing management.

Provide reinsurance pricing support across property, specialty, casualty treaty and cyber portfolios. Build, enhance and document Excel-based pricing models and analytics, collaborate with underwriters and catastrophe modelling teams, present findings to stakeholders, improve modelling capabilities and data quality, and support actuarial exam progression toward IFoA qualification.
