The role includes managing Intune, Entra ID, Autopilot, application deployment, endpoint security, device migration waves, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and early-life support. The engineer will automate processes using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, analyse diagnostic data, coordinate with cross-functional technology teams, and ensure endpoint services are secure, reliable, supportable, and operationally ready.

Own the identity and directory architecture for a major technology transformation. Define current, coexistence, transition, and target-state architectures across Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, authentication, lifecycle management, privileged access, DNS, and enterprise application integration. Assess the existing estate, design secure hybrid identity patterns, and create a risk-managed roadmap for Active Directory consolidation. Produce architecture and migration artefacts while communicating decisions to stakeholders and guiding transition and implementation.
