Lead enterprise risk management across the business by developing risk strategy, identifying operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risks, and advising senior leadership and the Board. Oversee risk reporting, team development, insurance program placement, insurer negotiations, and E&O claims. Build a forward-looking risk culture aligned with UK regulations, FCA requirements, and the needs of a regulated insurance business.

Analyze insurance product metrics, claims, and sales trends to support underwriting strategy. Build self-service data tools, prepare performance reports for capacity providers, calculate reserving and profit-share metrics, validate data with engineering teams, and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders. The role also involves coaching junior colleagues and collaborating with finance, data engineering, and external partners.

Own MGA portfolio risk and technical pricing analysis, maintaining statistical and machine-learning pricing models using Python, R, SQL, and specialized pricing tools. Identify market trends, recommend price adjustments, assess new product profitability, create underwriting dashboards, and communicate insights to business partners. The role also includes mentoring junior analysts and collaborating with underwriting and data science teams.
