Leads the UK compliance function for a digital insurance company, developing regulatory strategy, Consumer Duty implementation, risk-based frameworks, governance, monitoring, and operational controls. Serves as the primary regulatory contact and SMF16/SMF17 holder while advising executives, the board, technology, product, finance, and commercial teams. The role manages compliance business partnering, monitoring, and governance teams and supports compliant innovation involving digital distribution, e-commerce, and algorithmic pricing.

Build self-service data tools, prepare performance reports for capacity providers, calculate reserving and profit-share metrics, validate data with engineering teams, and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders. The role also involves coaching junior colleagues and collaborating with finance, data engineering, and external partners.

Own MGA portfolio risk and technical pricing analysis, maintaining statistical and machine-learning pricing models using Python, R, SQL, and specialized pricing tools. Identify market trends, recommend price adjustments, assess new product profitability, create underwriting dashboards, and communicate insights to business partners. The role also includes mentoring junior analysts and collaborating with underwriting and data science teams.

Lead process optimization across software delivery workflows, applying Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Theory of Constraints. Map workflows, identify bottlenecks, standardize and automate delivery tools, analyze throughput and lead-time metrics, and use Jira, BI platforms, Looker, and Tableau to communicate insights. Partner with Product and Engineering leaders, develop self-service tooling, train peers, and drive continuous improvement across Shared Services.

Provide high-quality analysis and recommendations to Product teams: customer journey analysis, measure multi-channel impact, run A/B tests, perform ad-hoc exploration and visualization, collaborate with data engineers to evolve pipelines, and build dashboards and self-service query tools while training colleagues.

The Application Security Engineer embeds security throughout the software development lifecycle by advising on secure coding, threat modeling, OWASP Top 10 mitigation, code reviews, penetration testing, and SAST, DAST, and IAST tooling. The role partners with engineering teams, improves DevSecOps practices, researches AI and LLM threats, supports incident investigations, delivers security training, and mentors developers.
