The role partners with executive leaders across technology, engineering, data, and digital product, develops business cases for technology initiatives and supplier spend, oversees capital development and transfer pricing, and provides actionable financial insights to guide investment and operational decisions.

Leads the UK compliance function for a digital insurance company, developing regulatory strategy, Consumer Duty implementation, risk-based frameworks, governance, monitoring, and operational controls. Serves as the primary regulatory contact and SMF16/SMF17 holder while advising executives, the board, technology, product, finance, and commercial teams. The role manages compliance business partnering, monitoring, and governance teams and supports compliant innovation involving digital distribution, e-commerce, and algorithmic pricing.

Lead enterprise risk management across the business by developing risk strategy, identifying operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risks, and advising senior leadership and the Board. Oversee risk reporting, team development, insurance program placement, insurer negotiations, and E&O claims. Build a forward-looking risk culture aligned with UK regulations, FCA requirements, and the needs of a regulated insurance business.
