Take ownership to ensure delivery targets
 

You will be responsible in the Project execution phase from Basic Design, through Design Finalization.You will be responsible for site installation of Rotating Machinery and related systems.You will take care of customer technical requirements, delivering outcomes in time and quality.
 

As a Upgrades Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Engineering execution of assigned projects in terms of scope of supply, on-time delivery, quality, compliance and completeness.

  • Break down the project into manageable elements that can be effectively integrated in the Company systems generating the project baselines

  • Engineering design activities and technical decisions and risk management.

  • Leading technical meetings with customer (kick off, coordination review, HAZOP, close out etc.) and leading site survey when required.

  • Coordinating with site team to optimize design, specification and project configuration for installability and maintainability.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have a MSc or BSc in Engineering, Physics or demonstrate equivalent expertise gained as a Project Engineer.

  • Have good knowledge of Industrial & Energy products, Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors and other rotating machinery, including related production process.

  • Have knowledge of Electric machines.

  • Have a knowledge of the Project Management: planning, resource allocation, and budget management.

  • Have good Communication and Teamwork skills to effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. To lead and motivate the project team, make informed decisions, and manage conflicts.

  • Be able to identify and solve complex problems that may arise during the project lifecycle. Be ready to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

  • Have knowledge of Technical Regulation & Standard (TR&S) requirements, especially for EU application.

  • Have proven experience in Design/System/Project Engineering experience. Have technical aptitude and system integration mindset.

  • Be available to travel up to 40%, including full time assignments at installation sites during project erection, mechanical completion and beyond.

  • Be passionate for technical deep dive, professionally curious

  • Have good communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
