As a Lead Engineer, Testing and Qualification - Systems Design engineer, you will support research and product development testing, reviews test equipment, processes, and methods and suggest and implement improvements. You will perform environmental and regulatory qualification and ensure and validates products and services meet safety, product and environmental requirements.

 

As a Lead Engineer, Testing and Qualification - Systems Design engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining Systems/Process technical documentation issuing with special reference to Piping and Instrumentation diagram (P&ID), complying with quality and time schedule targets.
  • Ensuring full compliance of auxiliary systems components design to project/program requirements (Internal and external Customers and Regulatory)
  • Analyzing auxiliary systems design, off-design steady transient behaviors; ensuring fulfilment of functional requirements, by computational simulations through main commercial tools
  • Selecting main Auxiliary System components and skids, as well as automatic control and on/off valves, driving and influencing the configuration adoptio
  • Coordinate proactively with the other team members (mechanical design, test project engineer, product safety engineer etc.) evaluating the possible impact of other disciplines design choices on system design
  • Work closely with instrument engineer to identify, select and integrate measurements systems (sensors, conditioning systems, cables and A/D converters) for the test validation.
  • Coordinate external resources for issuing and releasing all documents associated to systems such as: P&ID, instruments list, wiring and connection diagram, data acquisition systems architecture etc.
  • Manage change requirements by properly updating all relevant documentation
  • Innovating ideas for generation process, pioneering concepts and being an ambassador of Energy Transition

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Master's degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas.
  • Turbomachinery knowledge is a must.
  • Have strong problem solving skills.
  • Be fluent both in English and Italian
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Be based in Florence
