Who We Are

adMarketplace is the largest global marketplace for Native Search advertising. For over 25 years, we’ve connected brands with consumers at the moment they express commercial intent beyond legacy search engines.
Today, our Native Search solutions are exclusively integrated across next-generation platforms where discovery happens, including web browsers, Buy Now Pay Later apps, and AI chat surfaces. Powered by vector search technology, our platform delivers relevant text and product ads that match consumers with the brands, products, and offers they’re actively seeking.
Our award-winning culture is grounded in the principles of Curiosity, Collaboration, Creative Conflict, Commitment, and Competitiveness – our 5Cs. These values drive us to turn complexity into clarity and create measurable value for consumers, advertisers, and publishers alike.

The Role

As a Technical Project Manager at adMarketplace, you'll be the driving force that turns complex, multi-team technical initiatives into shipped outcomes — owning the plan, the timeline, and the follow-through for our key strategic advertiser partnerships integrations end-to-end. This is a founding, builder function: you'll translate ambiguous technical and business asks into structured workstreams, keep Partnerships, Product, and Engineering aligned and moving, and make sure nothing that matters falls through the cracks.

You'll need real technical depth to do this well — this is not a purely administrative coordination role. You should be comfortable getting hands-on with APIs, data feeds, and attribution infrastructure so you can plan the work credibly, spot risk early, and push back when a timeline or scope doesn't hold up.

Technical Discovery & Planning

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients; document, prioritize, and sequence based on business impact (ROI)

  • Build and own the integration plan for client-specific solution architectures — scoping, sequencing, and tracking delivery against milestones, and adapting the plan as partner requirements evolve without losing continuity on existing commitments

  • Own client-specific POC planning and execution specifically for joint technical projects spanning AMP and partner engineering/product teams — coordinating across technical and business stakeholders to keep scope and timeline on track

  • Drive Build vs. Configure decisions to resolution; make recommendations and escalate where required

  • Track data accuracy and reconciliation workstreams between internal and partner-reported data sets, making credible interim calls where full visibility isn't available and revisiting them as better data arrives — ensuring open items are owned and closed out

Partner Integration & Delivery

  • Own the project plan for technical onboarding of new demand integrations — feed setup, attribution API integration, bid automation configuration, and credential provisioning — sequencing dependencies and unblocking stalled work

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for keeping client-side technical issues moving to resolution

  • Produce and maintain the actual content within that system for each partner — specs, project plans, status trackers, and open-question logs — ensuring every initiative has an accurate, current record owners can reference directly

  • Monitor partner technical channels and route escalations internally with appropriate urgency, tracking through to closure

  • Support integration of oRTB-based third-party demand partners and new vertical feed categories, including ticketing and travel

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with the Account team, Product, Engineering, and Supply-side Solutions Engineer to drive integrated solutions — running the cadence that keeps everyone aligned

  • Coordinate publisher feasibility assessments with Supply Solutions Engineer

  • Build and run the recurring reporting rhythm and governance structure for key strategic advertiser partnerships’ technical initiatives as a founding function — a single tracking system covering initiative status, ownership, dependencies, and open items, kept current through a regular cadence rather than reconstructed ad hoc for each meeting or report

  • Serve as the primary voice of project status in client-facing meetings alongside the Account team

  • Translate client-specific technical requirements into actionable, sequenced inputs for engineering and product

  • Represent progress and risk in internal reviews, launch planning, and go-to-market readiness

  • Support billing methodology discussions by tracking and translating technical attribution data into commercial inputs for Partnerships and Finance Qualifications:

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Hands-on experience with oRTB, APIs (REST/JSON), product feed management, event tracking, and attribution infrastructure

  • SQL proficiency required, or demonstrated ability to work closely with data/analytics teams to validate and interpret technical data

  • Experience with retail media ecosystems and advertiser measurement workflows — attribution modeling, ROAS optimization, smart bidding, and data pipeline infrastructure — strongly preferred

Core Competencies

  • Proven track record driving complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects from ambiguous ask to shipped outcome

  • Structured project/program management: scoping, sequencing, risk tracking, and status reporting

  • Client-facing technical discovery and the ability to translate business requirements into engineering-ready, sequenced work

  • Comfort with requirement gathering, live troubleshooting, and presenting to mixed technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience operating within a RACI-structured, cross-functional environment— including partner organizations with layered or shifting stakeholders, where knowing who actually needs to be looped in changes as roles and ownership evolve

  • Genuine comfort with ambiguity — building process from scratch and holding the team to it

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technical program/project management, solutions engineering, technical partnerships, or integration engineering — ideally within ad tech, retail media, or programmatic advertising

  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end delivery on technical, cross-functional initiatives, not just individual workstreams

  • Bachelor's degree required; technical field preferred

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 + bonus + equity
