What you will do:
- Perform technical investigations on the performance of base station antenna products and their influence on the network performance and new developments in the network
- Contribute to the development of network simulation tools for system analysis
- Drive and participate in studies regarding requirements of base station antennas and system solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new challenges and opportunities for antenna developments
- Support product managers, R&D, business, and market units regarding product documentation, development, technical customer requirements, and further requests.
The skills you bring:
- A Master's or above in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of channel modelling, cellular networks and MIMO systems
- Advanced Python and MATLAB knowledge
- Experience in antenna simulations software like HFSS, CST
- Experience in developing statistical models and solutions for predictive data analysis and machine learning
- Good understanding of 3GPP standard and cellular networks
- Good understanding of Passive intermodulation
- Strong understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) and antenna principles
- Understanding of Base station antenna architectures, especially AAS (Active Antenna System) products
- Scientific expertise or work experience in research projects is an advantage
- Work experience across interdisciplinary teams
- Teamwork mentality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and spoken communications skill in English. German language knowledge is an advantage.
