You will analyze and challenge antenna requirements, assess the impact of new features and functions on existing and new products, and guide verification and testing strategies to ensure robust, future-ready designs.
What you will do:
- Analyze and challenge antenna requirements to understand how the introduction of new features/ functions can impact the existing product and the product verification and testing
- Work closely with Antenna Design, Verification and Radio Systems for definition of new Active Antenna System architectures and passive antennas. Guide test and verification requirements
- Work on RRU + antenna E2E analysis for our technical sales solution team and collaborate with the radio and antenna development to shape the new requirements and verification associated with them
- Identify, initiate and drive Antenna + Radio E2E System knowledge
- Acts as a competence builder in the organization through presentations, lectures, and/or workshops
The skills you bring:
- Master's degree or above, a background in electrical engineering or engineering physics, preferably with an emphasis on RF Antenna or Radio design, or an equivalent qualification
- +5 years of proven experience within radio system engineering and/or RF antenna development are particularly advantageous
- Experience with antenna and radio test and verification
- Good understanding of cellular radio networks and extensive knowledge in radio and RF technologies, products and related standards (3GPP, IEC, NGMN, CPRI, O-RAN)
- Solid understanding of PIM (Passive Intermodulation)
- Good understanding of Baseband Control
- Ability to develop and maintain scripts in radio control environments to manage radio test cases is advantageous. Knowledge in e.g. Linux, MATLAB, Python
- RF and radio system knowledge such as RF measurement technics, wireless systems and digital signal analysis
- High self-motivation and structured way of working
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a passion for teamwork and collaboration
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
