Job Description

The Role:

As a Performance Marketing Assistant - Paid Search, you will support the Performance Marketing Manager in the day-to-day execution, optimisation, and reporting of PPC campaigns across a portfolio of brands within Frasers Group. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in paid search, working across high-volume Google Ads accounts to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and return on ad spend (ROAS). You will play a key role in campaign delivery, reporting, and optimisation while developing your knowledge of paid search best practices in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the setup, management, and optimisation of paid search campaigns across Google Ads.

• Assist with campaign builds, ad copy updates, and asset uploads.

• Complete daily account health checks to ensure campaigns are delivering efficiently and identify any issues.

• Support the implementation of promotional updates, seasonal campaigns, and product launches across multiple brands. 

• Monitor campaign performance and identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues.

• Assist with bid adjustments, budget pacing, and optimisation tasks to help improve campaign performance.

• Support the analysis of campaign data to identify opportunities to improve ROAS, traffic, and conversions.

• Help maintain efficient budget delivery across multiple accounts. 

• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports.

• Assist in analysing campaign performance and preparing insights for the wider team.

• Ensure reporting is accurate, up to date, and shared with relevant stakeholders.

• Support tracking validation and help maintain accurate campaign measurement.

• Assist with creating and updating ad copy, ad extensions, and campaign assets.

• Work closely with design, trading, and digital teams to ensure campaigns align with promotions, product launches, and wider marketing activity.

• Support A/B testing of ad copy and campaign variations to drive continuous improvement. 

• Keep up to date with the latest PPC trends, Google Ads features, and performance marketing best practices.

• Support the team in testing new campaign features, automation, and platform betas.

• Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve campaign performance and processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in digital marketing, PPC, or eCommerce is desirable but not essential (including internships, placements, or relevant university projects).

• A strong interest in performance marketing and paid search, with a desire to build a career in digital marketing.

• Basic understanding of Google Ads is advantageous.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with data in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
