This role is about: 

As a Payment Scheme Manager, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Payment Scheme Department while efficiently coordinating Payment Scheme-related projects. You will play a pivotal role in implementing, certifying, managing, and enhancing new initiatives, ensuring the seamless functionality of payment systems.

You Will:

  • Lead the implementation, certification, and management of new projects and products while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage key operational projects, including processes, performance reports, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, development plans, opportunities, and achievements, adhering to agreed formats and timelines.
  • Support business development efforts by assessing and integrating new businesses, enhancements, and developments into the payment scheme framework.
  • Oversee workforce productivity and operational reports to ensure cost efficiency, resolve operational challenges, and align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Provide training to staff and recommend professional development programs to enhance team knowledge and skills.
  • Address complex program functionality issues and resolve operational challenges.
  • Maintain a prioritized and orderly workflow, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Analyze operational statistics and compile accurate, actionable reports.

What we need:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in payment card processing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Payment Scheme Rules and Regulations.
  • Proficiency in Project Management methodologies, including documentation and writing Business Operations Procedures.
  • Advanced analytical skills and expertise in using spreadsheets and databases.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong educational background in Economics, Finance, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in managing cross-functional projects.
  • Familiarity with emerging payment technologies and trends.
  • Leadership experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • This role is based in Cyprus or Lithuania
