About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Growth Manager to spearhead our expansion in the local market in Cyprus. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse sales team dedicated to identifying key prospects, acquiring new clients, and driving market share growth. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in the payments industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of payment solutions, market trends, and the needs of businesses in this space. They should be a proactive, results-oriented professional who excels in building relationships and navigating fast-paced, competitive environments.

Reporting Line: This role reports directly to the Head of Sales.

You will:  

  • Market Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of payabl.'s payment products and services, effectively communicating their value to prospective merchants in the local market. 
  • Sales Development: Identify and drive new business opportunities through both traditional and digital sales channels. 
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research to uncover new markets and understand merchant needs within the assigned region. 
  • Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in target industries, gaining insights to maximize sales performance. 
  • Business Development: Lead sales presentations, negotiate contracts, onboard clients, and support their journey with payabl. 
  • Lead Generation: Proactively prospect and nurture leads through outbound channels to build a robust pipeline. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams within payabl. to ensure a seamless merchant experience. 
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets, generating sustainable opportunities to achieve both company and personal goals. 

What we need:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales within payments, FinTech, or related technology sectors.
  • Proactive Sales Approach: A hunter mentality, skilled in leveraging lead generation tools and building a robust network.
  • Self-Starter: Highly organized, motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Results-Oriented: A commercially driven individual who thrives on achieving and surpassing goals.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Proven success in closing deals and handling complex negotiations with confidence.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales performance metrics.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel for networking events, client meetings, and business opportunities.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organization.
  • Interpersonal Skills: A natural relationship builder who thrives in collaborative environments.

🚀 Hiring Process:

1️⃣ First Interview: Conducted by the Talent Acquisition team (30-40 min).

2️⃣ Second Interview: 1-hour deep-dive with the Head of Sales.

3️⃣ Final Behavioural Interview: Focused team fit, with participation from the Head of Talent Acquisition and the Group Chief Growth Officer of Acquiring (1-1.5hours).
