The HR Assistant delivers high-quality administrative, operational, and HRIS support across our European region. This role ensures data accuracy, smooth joiner/mover/leaver execution, and seamless daily HR service delivery as the first point of contact for employee queries.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for general employee HR queries 
  • Coordination of employee life cycle processes  (joiners, movers, leavers) 
  • Support monthly HR payroll inputs in collaboration with the Global Payroll and Total Rewards teams 
  • Support in ER cases (note taking, file notes, documentation preparation etc.)
  • Maintain employee records, HRIS platforms and compliance documentation
  • Assist with regional audit reporting and policy documentation updates
  • Preparing BAU HR documentation (e.g. reference letters, change to employment letters) 
  • Supporting the HR team on requests & HR annual projects (performance cycle, year-end, compliance, HRIS testing etc.)
    Essential: 
    • Proven administrative experience within a fast-paced environment 
    • High attention to detail and strong organisation 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Confidence handling  confidential and sensitive information
    • Drive to make process improvements
    • Enjoys stakeholder management and building strong working relationships 
    • Proficiency with HRIS tools and standard office software 
    • Teamplayer, with the ability to also manage work independently 
    • Ability to prioritise tasks and strong time management 
    • Basic understanding of UK Employment Law 

Desirable: 

    • Prior exposure to working within an international HR shared service operations
    • Proven experience in a customer / client facing role 
    • Experience with G-Suite and Workday 
    • Interest in wider HR community and career opportunities (for example, currently undertaking or interest in completing CIPD Qualification)
