Private Shopping at Harrods is looking for a Hospitality Supervisor to join our Hospitality team. In one of Harrods' most exclusive environments, you'll play a key role in shaping memorable experiences through outstanding service, operational leadership, and a highly personalised approach to hospitality.

Working within our luxury lounges and private suites, you'll oversee and inspire a team to create memorable moments for some of the world's most discerning clients, ensuring every interaction reflects the attention to detail and discretion synonymous with the Harrods brand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Hospitality Management team, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of our hospitality spaces, ensuring service runs seamlessly while maintaining the highest standards across every touchpoint. You'll support the development of your team, drive operational consistency, and work closely with key stakeholders to enhance the Private Shopping experience.

You will:

  • Champion Service Excellence: Ensure every interaction is delivered with professionalism, warmth, and discretion, creating an elevated experience for every client.
  • Maintain Operational Standards: Oversee service delivery, lounge presentation, and suite readiness, ensuring a seamless operation throughout the day.
  • Develop Your Team: Coach and support team members through training, feedback, and day-to-day leadership.
  • Handle Service Recovery: Resolve client concerns confidently and effectively, ensuring positive outcomes.
  • Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with Private Shoppers and wider teams to support an elevated and personalised client experience.

You will be an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for luxury service and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences. Comfortable working in a high-profile environment, you'll bring a combination of operational expertise, strong leadership skills, and an instinctive understanding of what creates truly memorable moments.

You thrive in fast-paced luxury settings and take pride in creating an environment where both clients and colleagues can flourish. With a keen eye for detail and a naturally proactive approach, you understand that delivering world-class hospitality is about anticipating needs, building genuine connections, and ensuring every interaction feels effortless.

You will also bring:

  • Anticipation: Take a proactive approach to service, instinctively recognising and responding to client needs before they arise.
  • Leadership: Inspire and support your team through coaching, collaboration, and leading by example, creating a culture centred on excellence.
  • Experience: Have a proven track record of supervising or leading teams within luxury hospitality, whether in private members' clubs, five-star hotels, fine dining restaurants, or similarly high-end environments.
