Job Summary

The successful role holder will be able to support and drive P&C Operations to 

  • Improve operational efficiency and cost performance, and most importantly improve our Turn Around Times 
  • Increase scalability and consistency of delivery in line with our global growth ambitions
  • Launch  operational frameworks and governance allowing us to continually measure, adapt and improve. 
  • Proven track history in successful delivery of initiatives
Responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities

 

Strategy & Operational Design

  • Define and evolve the operational strategy aligned with overall business goals
  • Design and implement operational frameworks, standards, and governance models
  • Translate strategic priorities into practical, scalable operating models
  • Ensure alignment between global strategy and regional/nearshore execution

 

 Frameworks, Optimisation & Performance

  • Drive standardisation and optimisation of processes across functions or locations
  • Establish KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and lead cost optimisation initiatives
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

 

 People Leadership & Enablement

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for operational design and execution
  • Enable teams through clear structures, guidance, and governance
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders and functional leaders
  • Act as local leader to drive alignment of P&C Objectives amongst the P&C Operations Community in Bucharest 

 

Transformation & Change

  • Drive adoption of new operating models and ensure sustainable change
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives to improve scalability and agility
Qualifications

Required experience & competencies

 

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in operational strategy, transformation, or consulting

  • Proven ability to design and implement operating models and frameworks

  • Experience leading large-scale optimisation or efficiency programs

  • Demonstrated people leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong analytical, structured thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on execution levels

 

Required Education 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent), 
  • Demonstrable and extensive leadership experience in an equivalent role, ideally within the (Re)Insurance industry
