  • Oversee and guide negotiation of third-party agreements supporting marketing and communications, including agency and media arrangements, MarTech/SaaS, sponsorships, and influencer/“finfluencer” and talent agreements—ensuring appropriate risk management, internal alignment and timely execution.
  • Advise the business on rights and obligations under marketing agreements, ensuring compliance with JPMorganChase policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support M&A and other strategic transactions impacting the International Consumer business including legal due diligence, transaction support, issue-spotting and integration support.
  • Provide clear risk reporting and actionable insight on key issues and emerging trends to senior stakeholders and relevant governance forums.
  • Perform other duties as necessary in connection with legal support to the business.

  • Strong commercial contracting experience, including leading and overseeing the negotiation of a range of agreements and transactions, such as marketing-related arrangements (e.g., SaaS/MarTech, sponsorship, influencer/talent, agencies, media buying and other supplier/partner agreements) as well as M&A, partnerships, and other strategic transactions.
  • Experience advising across a broad mix of advertising and communications channels, including digital and social media, online journeys, influencer marketing, and traditional/print campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of UK equality and consumer protection considerations in marketing (including the Equality Act as applicable).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance for legal and non-legal audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment, prioritise effectively and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
