Kurt Geiger’s Digital Team is a leading edge, multichannel, global, fully integrated function within the business. We have built an inclusive and diverse team that operates across 4 layers of the Business: Back End Systems and Engineering; Platforms; Marketing; Customer Service.  

Our in-house team of over 100 Digital experts are augmented with expertise from partners across the globe to deliver the very best in Retail Technology with a firm eye on the future. We operate in a fully Agile, fast paced environment, with a strong focus on individual leadership talent and development through an integrated Excellency Framework to ensure every member of the team develops the very best leadership development for themselves whilst delivering business objectives in line with growing our Global Digital Brands.  

Digital Trading and CRO  

We’re a best in class team with a strong track record of delivering incremental and profitable growth through optimised digital experiences. We focus on conversion rate optimisation and we’re equipped with a suite of best in market analytical and conversion tools. We constantly test and drive improvement across our digital channels both in the UK and internationally. 


Principle accountabilities: 

  • With the support of the Senior Online Trading manager, drive our global expansion launching new Shopify based websites into new markets and territories. Positioning our brand effectively as well as driving commercial performance  
  • Management of the website catalogue including the loading new product, creating new categories and general catalogue management of large product sets 
  • Manage, test and optimise onsite merchandising and product rankings in order to maximise our commercial ambitions as well as using a localised approach by market 
  • Optimise the search and navigation functionality to deliver greater product discovery and on-site engagement 
  • Update, track and report on the digital forecast and trading plan with clear and actionable insights for various stakeholders, as well as tapping into key trading events in specific countries 
  • Work closely & collaborate with the in-market teams and offshore teams to drive growth in our newly launched countries, through insights sharing and guidance utilising robust communication skills to work with a variety of different stake holders  
  • Work closely with the B&M departments to ensure stock levels, sell through rates, allocation, newness and replenishment are all factored into the digital trading plan 
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to help optimise traffic performance by highlight product or category opportunities within the trading plan 
  • Support other digital team members as required but generally with clarity on our trading plan and insight in terms of commercial opportunities 


Requirements

Skills and Experience 

  • Experience working on Shopify websites and related platforms is highly desirable but not compulsory 
  • Experience with digital merchandising tools, such as Fred Hopper preferred but not compulsory  
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets with accuracy and confidence 
  • Ability to speak Spanish to at least a conversational level would be beneficial  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with, communicate and influence a wide group of stakeholders, using sound time management to work effectively with colleagues in different time zones
