Who We Are

adMarketplace is the largest global marketplace for Native Search advertising. For over 25 years, we’ve connected brands with consumers at the moment they express commercial intent beyond legacy search engines.
Today, our Native Search solutions are exclusively integrated across next-generation platforms where discovery happens, including web browsers, Buy Now Pay Later apps, and AI chat surfaces. Powered by vector search technology, our platform delivers relevant text and product ads that match consumers with the brands, products, and offers they’re actively seeking.
Our award-winning culture is grounded in the principles of Curiosity, Collaboration, Creative Conflict, Commitment, and Competitiveness – our 5Cs. These values drive us to turn complexity into clarity and create measurable value for consumers, advertisers, and publishers alike.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Finance team, dedicated to marketplace operations. The right person is passionate about connecting the dots between financial performance, day-to-day operational execution, and the underlying supply/demand dynamics that drive our marketplace. You'll sit inside Finance but work hands-on with Operations (Demand Ops, Supply Ops, Campaign Management) and Pricing & Yield, turning disparate operational and financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.

This role gives you a dedicated seat inside marketplace operations while reporting through Finance — visibility across the business that few analyst roles offer.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the dedicated data analyst embedded in marketplace operations, working day-to-day with Demand Ops, Supply Ops, and Campaign Management while reporting through FP&A.

  • Analyze marketplace dynamics — supply/demand balance, pricing trends, yield, and competitive positioning — to surface insights that inform operational and revenue decisions.

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and build reporting that improves day-to-day decision-making across the teams you support.

  • Build and maintain models and dashboards that unify financial and operational data, reducing manual reporting effort over time.

  • Translate complex, cross-functional analysis into clear recommendations for senior leadership, including financial impact, tradeoffs, and risk.

  • Support scenario planning and variance analysis tying operational drivers to financial outcomes.

  • Identify emerging trends across the marketplace and proactively flag risks or opportunities before they materially affect performance.

  • Establish and document best practices for analytical rigor and reporting consistency between Finance and Operations.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, BI, CS, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related analytical role.

  • Demonstrated experience independently owning analytical projects and translating findings into measurable business outcomes.

  • Proven ability to organize and analyze large datasets, identify trends, and translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.

  • Experience developing forecasting or analytical models and evaluating their performance over time.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, etc.).

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

  • Experience building dashboards using Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical thinking, business judgment, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

  • Experience in digital advertising, marketplace businesses, e-commerce, fintech, or related industries is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ownership, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 + Bonus & Equity
