DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

Are you an organised and proactive Credit Controller looking to join a fast-paced and growing business? We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering great customer service while ensuring outstanding debt is collected efficiently and accurately.

As a Credit Controller, you'll play a key role in managing the sales ledger, reducing aged debt, and supporting healthy cash flow across the business. Working as part of a collaborative Accounts Receivable team, you'll build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and secure timely payments.

As the Credit Controller, you will:

  • Proactively manage the sales ledger, identifying invoices approaching due dates or overdue for payment.

  • Chase outstanding debts via phone, email, ticketing systems, and customer portals.

  • Raise and issue invoices and pro-formas for fulfilled orders.

  • Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve payment issues.

  • Process and allocate customer payments within NetSuite.

  • Maintain accurate records and update AR tracking reports daily.

  • Escalate overdue balances where necessary.

  • Support cash forecasting and reporting activities.

  • Upload invoices through customer portals including Ariba and Tungsten.

  • Issue customer statements as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal Credit Controller:

  • Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.

  • Confident and professional telephone manner.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A proactive, process-driven approach with a willingness to improve and streamline ways of working.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
