About Lorum

The structural conflict at the centre of correspondent banking is not technological. It is economic. Banks earn revenue from their balance sheets: they lend deposits, capture FX spreads, and hold funds as long as it is rational to do so. Clearing, the act of releasing funds quickly and predictably, competes directly with those economics. An institution designed to lend has a structural incentive to hold deposits; an institution designed to clear has an incentive to release them. When one institution does both, clearing loses. The result is unpredictable settlement, trapped capital, and a correspondent network shrinking by design.

Why Lorum

Lorum was founded on a different premise: clearing as the business, not a byproduct. The model has been operational since 2023 and grew 55x in 2025, with USD clearing now the majority of volumes alongside a growing treasury offering. We have applied for a U.S. national trust bank charter. The people we hire now will build the clearing and treasury infrastructure it unlocks.

About this role

We are hiring a Content Lead to build and run Lorum's content engine, turning data and operator insight into demand, trust, and press. This role owns Lorum's editorial strategy and importantly, executes on it. You will be shaping the narratives, reports, and case studies that define our voice, globally. You’ll set the editorial agenda, run the publishing cycle end-to-end, and ensure every piece of content delivers measurable impact.

You’ll work directly with our Head of Growth Marketing, and manage external contributors (designers, analysts etc) to bring clarity to complex ideas, producing source-driven, high-quality content that reflects Lorum's vision and voice.

  • Translate business and marketing strategy into editorial narratives, longform outlines, and data-backed storylines

Publishing & distribution

  • Manage Lorum's owned channels such as blog, newsletter, LinkedIn and ensure a consistent, authoritative voice.

  • Develop and run repurposing and syndication plans for every major content asset.

  • Maintain a clean, forward-looking editorial calendar and contributor SLAs.

  • Oversee publishing workflows and ensure timely execution across all channels.

Content production & management

  • Write and edit briefs, outlines, and executive-level drafts

  • Run expert interviews, surveys, and research initiatives to strengthen data-led storytelling

  • Manage and quality-control freelance writers, designers, and analysts

  • Own content distribution across social, email, partnerships, and PR

  • Track and report on performance metrics: engagement, assisted pipeline, backlinks, and time-to-publish

  • Maintain a living content playbook to continuously improve tone, structure, and process
