We are seeking a Business Development Customer Engagement Coordinator, responsible for planning, organizing, and managing execution of customer engagement events. You will work in tandem with a business development, mission integration and security professionals to develop and maintain presentations that highlight BAE Systems' capabilities and solutions and ensure seamless engagement execution that meets client objectives and runs smoothly on the day of the event.
Work Location: Onsite >50% at BAE Systems facilities in southern New Hampshire
Travel: 25%
Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Engagement Planning
  • Develop, coordinate and maintain presentations highlighting BAE Systems' capabilities and solutions against our customer's operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Business Area functional professionals to define engagement timing, goals and format in conjunction with a meeting host.
  • Open charge account and track/manage labor charging and task codes in support of engagements
  • Manage and coordinate customer engagement scheduling, both internally and externally and manage same in Outlook and Salesforce
  • Reserve and secure venues, considering capacity, security requirements, logistics, and accessibility.
  • Develop detailed event plan, timelines and schedules in coordination with meeting host
  • Coordinate event details and requirements with Security, IT, Facilities and Administrative Assistants including but not limited to attendance, catering, facility arrangements and work orders, A/V, visitor certifications, etc.
  • Engagement Execution
  • Oversee assignment of tasks and responsibilities and facilitate engagement plan execution
  • Coordinate event setup and breakdown according to plan
  • Monitor event flow and address any issues that arise
  • Manage and assist with visitor escort onsite
  • Ensure all aspects of the event are executed according to the established timeline and specifications
  • Post-Event Follow-up:
  • Assist meeting host with conducting post-event evaluations and debriefings
  • Prepare event reports, including attendee data in Salesforce
  • Analyze event performance to identify areas for improvement


Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, business, communications, hospitality management, public relations, marketing or equivalent


Skills:

  • Ability to collaborate and interact with teams and customers
  • Detail-oriented, organized mindset for tracking tasks and deadlines
  • Dedicated, committed approach in addressing unexpected changes leading up to and on day of the engagement
  • Competency with MS Office Suite, especially Outlook and PowerPoint, and M365 Teams
  • For hybrid work approval, consistent, reliable internet service allowing for effective telecommuting required
  • Reliable personal transportation required for movement between BAE Systems southern NH campuses


Must currently possess US Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience:

  • Previous experience as an event coordinator or similar role in the hospitality, corporate, or non-profit sectors or similar experience with management and coordination of events.
  • Department of defense or government work experience


Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with teams and customers
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively plan solutions
  • Adaptability and flexibility in handling unexpected changes leading up to and on day of the engagement
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and M365 Teams and Sharepoint
  • US Top Secret/SCI Clearance


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
