Then, help us protect those that protect us by developing the Next Generation Electronic Warfare Systems Products and Solutions. We need your talent, motivation, and vision to join our Nashua, New Hampshire based team. BAE Systems has recently been awarded new programs and is currently undergoing` an exciting period of growth.
We are seeking an experienced Senior RF Test Engineer to join the Digital Architecture Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating common software solutions for the next generation development of RF Test Programs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a background in RF engineering, experience with automated Test Sequence development and integration, and strong software development and integration skills.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting, designing, analyzing, developing, and maintaining (typically in C#, Python, and/or NI TestStand) test instrument driver abstraction software, common test utility software, and data collection microservices
  • Testing and integrating common software on RF and digital test equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides
  • Troubleshoot and debug Test Sequence issues related to support library integration, and provide root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement


Hybrid:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform work onsite, some efforts may be (mostly) full time on-site. Work that can be done remotely will allow for a hybrid working environment.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, the specific positions require US citizenship status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering, with an exposure to RF Test Sequence development and integration
  • General understanding of RF principles
  • Experience with SCPI based instrument communication
  • Experience with developing and integrating test equipment control software
  • Strong grasp of Object Oriented Programming, with experience in C# and/or Python
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience NI TestStand
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
  • Unit Under Test (UUT) emulation and simulation
  • Unit Test Driven Software Design


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
