Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. We are seeking a full-time onsite Process Engineer II to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at our Nashua, New Hampshire facility on the F-35 program. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and being able to adapt to a rapidly changing production factory environment brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of production goals and achieving operational excellence.
In this role, the process engineer will be responsible for providing continuous improvement, PPV/FAI, and new process implementation for the Electronic Systems factories. This role contains hands-on problem solving, data analysis and application of engineering, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve assembly processes, and initiatives to improve product flow and test yields. This position supports first shift factory operations.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field and 2+ years relevant work experience.
Eligible for Secret Security Clearance and possibility of further security clearances.
Relevant process engineering or manufacturing engineering industry experience, preferably in electro-mechanical manufacturing.
Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel at all levels, customers, and suppliers.
Effectively communicate status on technical aspects of manufacturing in program production meetings.
Ability to understand, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems.
Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast paced environment.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience in a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment.
PPV/FAI industry experience.
Knowledge of statistical process controls.
Electronic manufacturing software experience such as Oracle, TipQA, Solumina or Paperless MES.
Root cause and corrective action methodology knowledge and experience.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
