In 2024, Remitly joined the Aspen Institute’s National Task Force on Fraud and Scam Prevention, a cross-sector effort to combat fraud and scams, enhance information sharing, helping consumers to protect themselves and reinforce member commitment to safeguarding customers and communities. 43 The initiative brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and advocates to address the growing threat of digital fraud.
