Supports the ERP for Manufacturing Dossier product team by gathering business requirements, defining IT solutions, coordinating with technical teams, supporting SAP service continuity, and acting as a subject matter expert for manufacturing engineering customers. The role focuses on SAP MM and PP, manufacturing processes, routings, bills of materials, document management, work centers, work preparation, and deployment of Airbus Unified ERP at the UK plant.

Twelve-month undergraduate placement supporting Airbus Manufacturing Engineering in Broughton. Responsibilities include delivering improvement projects, resolving technical issues, supporting production and Wing of Tomorrow initiatives, improving industrial processes, and contributing to digitalization, sustainability, planning, production control, and operational excellence. The role involves cross-functional teamwork and may cover jigs and tooling, automation, assembly technologies, industrial planning, and process development.

Supports Airbus Materials Laboratory activities through investigations, experiments, mechanical, chemical, and metallurgical testing. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, performing statistical analysis, preparing protocols and reports, maintaining laboratory records and data integrity, following COSHH procedures, and improving laboratory methods and operations. The placement requires undergraduate study in chemistry, materials engineering, chemical engineering, or a related discipline.
