The YE FA Shift Lead Engineer is responsible for overseeing activities related to the technical support and sustaining shift engineering functions in a product manufacturing area. Responsibilities include planning and directing implementation of equipment, process, or product modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products. Additionally, this position acts as an engineering liaison with internal customers to ensure processes meet the needs of identified customers. Other responsibilities include providing input to select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities and Tasks
- Effectively manage shift team failure analysis to meet production, process, and quality requirements
- Works with 1st shift and shift engineers to identify and Deploy Best Known Methods, keeping shifts aligned while progressing the labs failure analysis efforts efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain an effective training program; provide active leadership to drive group to higher levels of proficiency. Ensures eventual reports are receiving adequate development, coaching and growth opportunities
- Mentor and develop engineers and technicians to improve shift team's FA capability
- Manage shift team output using KPIs, BP's and BKM's the YE organization monitors to internal customers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prefer 1-3 years direct semiconductor leadership experience. Leading and technically contributing in failure analysis activities using MBPS and delivering root cause
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar experience
- Willing to work a rotating shift schedule, including night shift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering or related technical field
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Experience building and developing new failure analysis teams
