With the intrinsic sustainability, quality and timeless elegance of our designs, our continued success comes as no surprise. With standalone stores, concessions and franchise operations in over 230 locations internationally, as well as online and app, our presence as a leading luxury brand is well established.

Working at Reiss, our common purpose is to continue to grow our business, to walk in the shoes of our customers, and to be exceptional in everything we do.

For our Visual Merchandising teams, this means elevating the store appearance and adjusting the merchandising standards according to seasons and constantly changing markets.

What’s the role about?

As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be working closely with the Retail Team to deliver a consistent and elevated Reiss experience in store. Working with guidance set by HO VM Team and Area VM Manager, adapted according to seasonality and product package to deliver the best customer experience possible.

Supporting the store management team, you’ll be highly commercial, utilising both stock reports and great visual skills to deliver visual solutions which drive additional and higher value sales. You’ll create a strong visual appearance in store against competing brands and fundamentally be the Reiss brand ambassador across all product ranges. Planning and training will form the foundations of the success within this role, driving the confidence and skills of store teams and enabling them to make their own decisions locally.

This is a permanent role, based on a full-time contract, working five days out of seven. Due to the nature of the role, you will at times carry out visual merchandising tasks outside of store trading hours. This role will be based across our Barrett Street store and Selfridges concession.

What you’ll be doing

  • Driving the development and behaviours of the consumer's needs through visual merchandising
  • Innovating and lead with creative visual solutions
  • Driving a consistent store environment which is first and foremost driven by the customer needs
  • Providing the main touchpoint for Area VM Manager from a VM perspective, reporting directly to the Store Manager and management team in store.
  • Re-merchandising the store out of trading hours at times
  • Gaining knowledge of best sellers and depth of products in store, in order to elevate sales through the layout of the store

What you’ll ideally bring to the role

  • A thorough understanding of creative and commercial aspects of visual merchandising and ability to demonstrate these within a store environment
  • Proven experience supporting a team and delivering training
  • Ability to utilise reports to drive sales
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to flex your approach to people at all levels within the business
  • A strong team mindset with great interpersonal skills
  • The ability to use your own initiative, plan your own time and be incredibly organised

What we’ll do for you

  • Seasonal business wear allowance
  • Generous employee discount
  • Wellbeing and financial support through our Employee Assistance Programme
  • Low monthly cost health support through our medical cash plan
  • Fitness discounts
  • Family friendly policies including enhanced parental pay
  • 23 days annual leave, increasing to 25 days after 2 years’ service
