At Edelman, we understand diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) transform our colleagues, our company, our clients, and our communities. We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic and people-focused Resource Management Lead to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave in our UK business.

This is a high-impact role at the centre of Edelman’s largest and most complex market in EMEA. You will play a critical role in ensuring continuity, stability, and strong stakeholder alignment across the UK business, while continuing to evolve how we deploy talent.

Resource Management is the engine that ensures we bring together the right people, at the right time, to deliver exceptional work. In this role, you will:

  • Lead and support the UK RM team, maintaining a culture of clarity, fairness, and collaboration
  • Partner with UK leadership to manage workforce planning and resourcing priorities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, navigating competing demands across practices and clients
  • Drive consistency and rigour in supply and demand planning, using data to inform decisions
  • Ensure effective cross-market collaboration, connecting UK talent to regional and global opportunities
  • Maintain and optimise RM tools, reporting, and processes to support business performance
  • Contribute to ongoing transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled ways of working
What you’ll bring
  • Strong experience in resource management, workforce planning, operations, or talent deployment
  • Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • A data-led mindset with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable decisions
  • Experience leading or supporting teams, with a focus on clarity, development, and inclusion
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with competing priorities
  • A collaborative, calm, and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Exposure to transformation initiatives such as systems implementation or process improvement is a plus
Why this role
  • A unique opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role in Edelman’s largest EMEA market
  • Immediate impact, with ownership of critical stakeholder relationships and business decisions
  • Exposure to senior leadership across the UK and EMEA
  • The chance to shape how work gets done in a complex, evolving organisation
  • Opportunity to contribute to future-facing RM practices, including AI and global tools

We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
