About the team

The Talent Acquisition team at Airwallex plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's future by sourcing and recruiting the brightest and most ambitious minds to drive our company forward. We collaborate with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand business needs and proactively find the right individuals who will contribute to our success. As trusted advisors, our team is passionate about building strong relationships with candidates and delivering a seamless recruiting experience that reflects Airwallex's operating principles, dynamic culture and global ambitions.

What you'll do

Airwallex is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner, Product & Design to own full-cycle recruiting for our Product and Design organizations. You will partner directly with hiring managers across Product Management, Product Strategy, Data Science, and Design to fill critical roles that power Airwallex's payments, treasury, spend, issuing, and platform products serving 200K+ customers globally.

This is a high-impact, hands-on recruiting role where you will build pipelines, run structured interview processes, and close exceptional candidates in a competitive fintech talent market. You will work closely with the broader Product & Design TA team, Employer Branding, and Total Rewards to position Airwallex as an employer of choice for product and design talent.

This role is based in San Francisco or New York City.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to define role requirements and build clear, effective hiring strategies for product and design functions.

  • Design and execute creative, data-driven sourcing strategies across platforms, events, and outreach to attract diverse talent.

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from intake through offer close, including candidate screening, interview coordination, feedback calibration, and compensation negotiation.

  • Act as a talent advisor to Product and Design hiring managers, providing market intelligence, candidate insights, and pipeline data to inform hiring decisions and workforce planning.

  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience at every stage of the process, reflecting Airwallex's operating principles and culture.

  • Collaborate with Employer Branding, People Partners, and Total Rewards to strengthen Airwallex's positioning in the product and design talent market.

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a meaningful portion focused on product management, product strategy, design, or related disciplines in a technology or startup environment.

  • Proven ability to influence hiring managers and senior stakeholders on talent strategy, role requirements, and candidate assessment.

  • Strong sourcing skills with a track record of building diverse candidate pipelines through direct outreach, referrals, events, and creative channels.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse) and recruiting data to manage pipelines, track metrics, and drive process improvements.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously across different hiring manager groups.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting in a high-growth fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure company, with familiarity navigating global or multi-regional hiring.

  • Comfort operating in environments with high standards, fast iteration cycles, and evolving priorities.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.

  • Curiosity to learn quickly, adapt fast, and grow through stretch opportunities, with a genuine passion for building teams that shape the future of financial technology.

Sales

Our London office is scaling fast. We're a 140+ strong team and growing, and our Sales team is right at the heart of it. The momentum is real: we're investing over $1bn into the region and $590m into the UK. Revenue is up 116% year on year and volumes have surged 226%, and we’ve only captured a fraction of what’s possible. That's where you come in. You'll be selling a world-class proven product into a market that's still wide open. Global heavyweights like McLaren Racing, Arsenal, Bolt, Qantas, and Carwow already run on Airwallex. For you, that means real ownership from the start, a role you'll scale, and scope that grows as fast as you can sell. It's a rare moment to join: proven product, open market, and a team going places
