As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Strategic Sales & Analytics (SSNA) Shark Analyst to join our French team. The position is based in our central Paris office.
Overview:
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Strategic Sales & Analytics (SSNA) Analyst to join our French SHARK team. This position is based in our central Paris office and is a key contributor within the Strategic Sales and Analytics organization.
Reporting to the SSNA SHARK Director, the SSNA Analyst will support the business through data-driven insights, performance tracking, pricing and promotional analysis, and market intelligence across key French retail accounts.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with data, supporting strategic decisions, and operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do
What You'll Do:
Market & Category Strategy:
  • Support the monitoring of market trends, competitive dynamics, pricing strategies, and promotional activity within the SHARK categories.
  • Analyze categories and brand performance to help identify share gains, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular POS data analysis to support tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the development of category insights that support distribution growth, shelf space optimization, and in-store execution.

Business Performance & Reporting:
  • Conduct trend analyses and track business performance versus forecast and prior year.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and recurring reports to improve visibility into commercial and financial KPIs.
  • Support cross-functional alignment by delivering clear, concise performance summaries to sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Prepare analytical materials and insights for management reviews and business updates.

Strategic Sales Analytics & Reporting:
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports covering sales, distribution, pricing, and promotions.
  • Identify category gaps, promotional risks, and competitive threats through structured data analysis.
  • Support pre- and post-promotion analysis, quantifying promotional lift, ROI, and execution effectiveness.
  • Assist in managing and updating the French Master Event Calendar, ensuring analytical readiness for key retail initiatives.
  • Track and analyze key metrics such as pricing elasticity, promotional efficiency, sell-out trends, and distribution changes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and demand planning teams to support commercial initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support to ensure decisions are fact-based and aligned with category objectives.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analyses in response to business questions or performance fluctuations.

What You'll Bring:
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales analytics, business analysis, category management, or commercial finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; solid PowerPoint skills required (BI tools experience is a plus).
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and POS data.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong desire to understand business drivers and improve performance.
