As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Sales Director to join our French sales team in our Paris offices (hybrid - 3 days a week).
Role Purpose
The Sales Director leads a strategic and highgrowth portfolio spanning GSA, Pure Players, DIY and Distributors.
This role blends senior commercial execution, channel building, and team leadership. It plays a key part in accelerating SharkNinja's growth in France by ensuring strong retail partnerships, opening new channels (especially DIY), and building the foundation for a scalable wholesale strategy.. You will manage and develop a team composed of senior KAMs, KAMs and SOM, and ensure operational excellence across all channels.
This is a role for a strong people leader, an experienced negotiator, and a builder capable of structuring and expanding new commercial territories.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy Implementation
  • Deploy the commercial strategy across GSA, Pure Players, DIY and Distributors.
  • Prepare and operationalize the negotiation plans (calendar, arguments, targets, risk assessments).
  • Identify growth opportunities and translate them into clear execution plans.
  • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and commercial priorities set at national and European levels.
  • Support the expansion of both Shark and Ninja ranges within assigned retailers and channels.

Channel Expansion-DIY & Distributors
DIY
  • Co-build the DIY strategy and channel framework.
  • Identify, prospect and open key DIY accounts.
  • Define assortment, merchandising expectations, and activation priorities.
  • Establish a replicable operating model to scale the channel.

Distributors / Wholesale
  • Cobuild the wholesale strategy (discounts, rebates, commercial terms)
  • Onboard and govern distributor partners with clear KPIs and performance reviews.
  • Strengthen coverage and availability through structured distribution agreements.

Account Leadership-GSA & Pure Players
  • Manage key negotiations within assigned retailers.
  • Ensure strong execution of category plans, modular changes, promo calendars and brand visibility.
  • Support KAMs in refining their account strategies and securing listings, activations and trade investments.
  • Monitor distribution, shelf share, EPOS performance, and promotional results, adjusting plans when needed.

Team Management & Leadership
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Senior KAMs, KAMs and SOM.
  • Set clear objectives, expectations and KPIs for each role.
  • Provide ongoing coaching (negotiation, category storytelling, business reviews, planning).
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between Sales, Supply, Marketing, Finance and SS&A.
  • Support onboarding, capability building and longterm talent development.

Performance Monitoring
  • Track key KPIs: EPOS, shipments, margin, volumes, distribution, shelf share, promo performance.
  • Ensure strong forecast discipline and contribute to accurate S&OP cycles.
  • Oversee the performance dashboards produced with the SOM and ensure they are used in weekly/monthly routines.
  • Implement corrective actions when gaps occur (promo, activation, supply alignment).
  • Manage budget execution and optimize return on trade investments.

Client Relationships & Negotiation Excellence
  • Maintain strong commercial relationships across key customers.
  • Lead or colead major negotiations, strategic launches, and annual agreements when required.
  • Represent SharkNinja professionally in customer meetings, trade shows and industry events.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, and commercial posture across channels.

Candidate Profile
Experience
  • 12+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management or Commercial Leadership in consumer electronics, FMCG or retail environments.
  • Strong experience in GSA and/or Pure Players; exposure to DIY and Distributors is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams with mixed seniority levels.
  • Experience in major national negotiations (JBPs, annual agreements, trade terms).
  • Experience in building new channels or opening large accounts.

Skills
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of EPOS, forecast KPIs, promo ROI.
  • Comfortable operating in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment.
  • Fluent in French & English.
