We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr HR Operations & Global Mobility Specialist to lead our HR operations across Western Europe and oversee global mobility programs. This dual-role position is key to ensuring efficient HR processes, compliance with international mobility regulations, and supporting the seamless movement of employees across our global locations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in HR operations across UK, Ireland, Italy, Malta and Cyprus alongside global mobility management, compliance, and international relocation.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has extensive experience in HR operations, with at least 3-5 years in global mobility management.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of HR systems (HRIS), payroll platforms, and global employment laws.
  • Demonstrates expertise in global mobility policies, including immigration, taxation, relocation, and compensation strategies.
  • Shows strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Communicates exceptionally well and interacts effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Can manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Has knowledge and established relationships with global mobility partners.
  • Has knowledge of payroll and employment legislation in the UK, Italy, Ireland, Malta, and Cyprus
  • Brings a can-do attitude.
  • Possesses a strong ability to use their initiative.

What you'll be doing:

(HR Operations) Leadership & Strategy

  • Manage the HR operations across multiple locations to deliver exceptional services across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, payroll, offboarding).
  • Develop and implement HR operational strategies to optimise processes, enhance employee experience, and align with business objectives.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local labour laws and industry best practices.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
  • Identify and partner with the HR Technology team to automate processes and improve HR service delivery.

Employee Relations

  • Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues, HR policies, and conflict resolution.
  • Handle HR issues such as employee grievances, investigations, restructures and disciplinary actions in accordance with legal guidelines.
  • Upskilling Managers and People Partners to ensure compliance.

Global Mobility Program Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of global mobility programs, including expatriate assignments, relocations, and business travel.
  • Design and implement policies for global mobility, ensuring compliance with immigration, tax, and legal requirements in all locations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, tax consultants, and immigration specialists to streamline global mobility services.
  • Partner with Reward to ensure that expatriate compensation packages are competitive, fair, and compliant with international regulations.

Employee Experience & Support

  • Act as a point of contact for employees during their international assignments, providing support on issues such as housing, schooling, and cultural adaptation.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding and off boarding process for all global employees and expatriates.
  • Conduct regular reviews of mobility policies to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company values.
