Job Description:

As the Sr. Associate, Offer Innovation you will help define Fluence’s commercial boundaries—balancing customer value against enterprise risk. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Offer Innovation, you will be the analytical engine of the team: structuring complex data to inform senior leadership’s strategy, while creating models that scale this strategy into the decisions Sales teams take day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring Fluence’s commercial offerings to life by proactively translating market feedback into innovative, risk-aware commercial solutions.

  • Build and own commercial models (e.g. risk and pricing calculators, flexible performance guarantees, liquidated damage tools) that quantify deal-level and corporate exposure.

  • Align and manage stakeholders across Product, Technology, Legal, and Finance to deliver on the proposed offer change.

  • Drive commercial innovations across the finish line by developing implementation plans, sales guidance, and contract-ready language.

  • Enable and train Sales teams, equipping them to confidently pitch new commercial innovations and use new internal tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of experience, ideally in commercial operations, financial/risk modelling, pricing, or sales enablement within the energy storage or power sectors.

  • The ability to dive into detail to understand complex commercial or technical concepts and help translate them into clear business requirements or contract language.

  • Proficiency in Python or Excel is required; previous experience on visualizing data to drive strategic decisions a plus.

  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience drafting playbooks, writing process documentation, or delivering training is a plus.

  • A proven track record of working independently to drive smaller projects or initiatives end-to-end, combined with a collaborative, team-player attitude.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with Sales teams, while effectively navigating cross-functional workstreams.

  • English business fluency; German is a plus
