About your role
The Solution Readiness Lead is responsible for driving solution readiness, stakeholder engagement and delivery co-ordination of solution readiness activities for different organisations. Acting as a bridge between functional and technical teams between the UOs and the Central Design team, the role focuses on translating global design into technical concepts, ensuring readiness across process, data, interfaces and reporting.

1. Technical Solution Leadership

  •  Serve as the programme’s primary technical authority for the enterprise workforce solution and Oracle HCM Cloud platform.
  • Bridge technical architecture with business objectives, ensuring clarity for governance and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Provide expert technical guidance, recommendations, and impact assessments to the Programme Steering Committee.
  • Lead and participate in solution webinars, functional workshops, and show‑and‑tell sessions to maintain comprehensive solution insight.
  • Develop a cross‑domain understanding of functional areas, integrations, data models, security, reporting, and migration architecture.
  • Act as the programme’s go‑to expert for system capabilities, limitations, and design constraints.

2. Requirement Gathering Facilitation

  • Lead and coordinate the end‑to‑end requirement gathering process across technical, functional, and governance workstreams.
  • Facilitate structured workshops with SMEs to capture, validate, and refine requirements.
  • Ensure requirements are robustly documented and transition smoothly into design, configuration, and delivery activities.

3. Technical and Functional Alignment

  • Ensure business processes, functional needs, and technical requirements are tightly aligned across all domains.
  • Translate functional outcomes into clear technical specifications and system behaviours.
  • Own the end‑to‑end traceability between business requirements, functional design, and technical implementation.
  • Identify and articulate the impact of technical constraints on business processes, ensuring stakeholders understand implications and trade‑offs.
  • Prevent misalignment between business expectations and solution capabilities by proactively managing design decisions.

4. Solution-Related Risk Management

  • Proactively identify technical and functional risks that could impact timeline, scope, or quality.
  • Own the technical elements of the RAID log, including assessment of probability, impact, mitigations, and escalation pathways.
  • Ensure that technical risk management is fully integrated across programme governance.

5. Coordination and Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the central coordination point across the Programme Support Team, UO SMEs, Steering Group members, Transformation leads, and Change enablers.
  • Build strong working relationships across technical, functional, and business communities to support consistent decision‑making.
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders, including C‑suite and governance bodies, on key technical and architectural decisions.

Requirements
  • Strong senior level stakeholder engagement, including executive and governance audiences.
  • Proven experience delivering complex SaaS / enterprise platforms.
  • Background in HR transformation or Oracle HCM Cloud architecture.

Technical Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong grounding in enterprise system architecture, integrations, APIs, and data management principles.
  • Expertise with enterprise HR / workforce platforms, ideally Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management, security models, and ITSM frameworks.
  • Experience with data migration strategies, data quality governance, and data mapping.

Programme and Project Management

  • Delivery experience within large transformation programmes or enterprise system implementations.
  • Ability to facilitate cross‑functional workshops and guide SMEs through complex decision‑making.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and navigate competing priorities.
  • Experience with RAID management, escalation processes, and programme governance.

Communication & Facilitation

  • Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business‑focused language.
  • Strong facilitation skills, capable of eliciting requirements through structured questioning.
  • Confident presenting to senior leadership, steering groups, and executive committees.
  • Strong written communication for technical documentation, requirement packs, and governance papers.

Organisational Skills

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with shifting priorities
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams, functions, and stakeholder groups

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior large scale HR Transformation
  • Direct Oracle HCM Cloud experience (function or technical implementation roles)
  • Experience with design authority frameworks and localisation governance in multi-organisation programmes
  • Prior experience as a Solution Lead, Technical Lead, or Senior Business Analyst on large-scale implementations
  • Experience with requirement management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Sharepoint, etc.)

Nice to have: Healthcare / Public Sector Context

  • Understanding of large-scale healthcare or public sector organisational structures, governance frameworks, and cultural dynamics
  • Familiarity with healthcare workforce management challenges and legacy system landscape
