Job title: Quality Engineer

Role Type: Full time, permanent role

Location & Hours: Redditch, 37h p/w M-F

As a Quality Engineer at Honeywell, in Redditch, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the company’s Quality Management System, identifying areas of improvement. You will be a focal point for customers, which includes resolving issues as well as support client’s when auditing us on site.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Conduct scheduled internal audits in line with quality standards, producing audit reports and raising non-conformances where required
  • Analyse data and prepare reports to communicate quality metrics, trends, and performance to management as well as identifying areas for improvement & lead initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability
  • Focal point for customers managing and resolving customer quality issues and facilitating on-site customer audits
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Full right to work in the UK without the need of sponsorship, and resides within a commutable distance to our Redditch site
  • Proven experience in quality engineering, preferably in the aerospace manufacturing sector (within AS9100, ISO 9001 certification)
  • Experience in Quality Tools & Techniques (8D, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, SPC)
  • Experience in non-conformance management & leadership of Root Cause Corrective Action
