Job Description:

Core responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for new bids and renewals
  • Interact and collaborate with clients to generate interest for CPSL’s capabilities, understand their business requirements and identify opportunities for contact centre solutions services and products
  • Collaborate with CPSL’s technical solutions designers to design and implement custom solutions that meet client needs, and ensure smooth takeover after the implementation phase
  • Design the product solution based on CPSL’s tech stack and client requirements, and partner with Sales to deliver sales pitches and demonstrations that are aligned to these requirements
  • Work extensively on the bidding process with the Sales team (Business Development team) and bid support specialists to ensure that the proposed products and services excite clients and deliver tangible value
  • Plan product configurations and quotes to meet client needs with the ability to convey those requirements to the Sales team
  • Provide ongoing support to clients to ensure their software solution continues to meet their needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies and best practices to ensure CPSL is providing the best possible solutions to our clients
  • Develop Proofs of Concept to introduce new capabilities into CPSL solutions and tech stack
  • Evaluate products, solutions and partnerships for prospective and existing client needs

Skills required

  • In depth technical knowledge that allows the translation of client requirements into product specifications
  • Familiarity with software and system architecture principles, and understanding of databases, networking, and security
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and goals
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical solution designers, Account Managers, and Sales teams
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) including client interactions
  • Business acumen than allows the understanding of business processes and how technology solutions can contribute to achieving business objectives
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative with modest supervision
  • Possess a passion for owning projects from start to finish
  • Ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and in time-sensitive situations
  • Collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders including the Sales team, Client team, Bid Support Specialists and Pricing Specialists

What are we looking for

Essential

  • Experience as a Solutions Architect in bid or deal team
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of the sales process and partnerships required to support client needs
  • Experience is large matrix organisation

Desirable

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in a BPO, Customer experience or financial services/pensions organisation
