Your Role: Social Video Producer, Competitions

Our competitions change lives every single week, and this role helps bring those life‑changing moments to our audiences. You’ll lead on social‑first video content for Global’s competitions activity within the Consumer Enterprise team, focusing on Meta platforms and producing compelling, high‑quality edits that drive engagement and participation.

As a Social Video Producer, Competitions at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Social video production (40%): Produce high‑quality, social‑first video content for Global’s competitions, with Meta as the primary focus. This includes winning moments, key highlights, winner follow‑ups and talent‑led promotions, as well as supporting adaptations for other platforms as they grow.
  • Editing and storytelling (40%): Turn raw footage into polished, engaging edits. Identify the strongest angles and craft clear, compelling stories that reflect the quality and tone of Global’s brands.
  • Stakeholder collaboration and delivery (20%): Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver content on time and to a high standard, maintaining brand consistency, editorial quality and strong attention to detail across all output.

Better Together: Collaborate with presenters, the in‑house video team, marketing colleagues and wider stakeholders to create content that feels trusted, credible and on‑brand across all platforms.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Edited and developed key marketing materials to promote our competitions on paid social.
  • Worked with our in‑house video team to understand tone of voice and brand identities across Global’s portfolio.
  • Delivered high‑performing content that drives both engagement and participation in our competitions.
  • Built effective relationships with stakeholders across Enterprise and brand teams.

What You’ll Need

  • Social video experience: Proven experience producing and editing social‑first video content, with strong knowledge of Meta platforms and audience behaviour.
  • Editing skills: Strong experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and confidence across the wider Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Storytelling mindset: Ability to identify standout moments and turn them into compelling edits that connect with audiences.
  • Camera operator: Competent camera operator with proven shooting experience, able to capture presenter PTCs and work on multi-camera productions where needed.
  • Platform understanding: Good understanding of Meta and awareness of other platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, with interest in how content can be adapted and developed across them.
  • Organisation and pace: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working at pace without losing attention to detail.
  • Collaboration and communication: Clear, confident communication and a collaborative approach to working with a range of stakeholders.

Working hours are typically 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, and approximately 12.30pm to 9.00pm on Fridays to support live competition activity, with flexibility required.
