Mission

Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.

In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

Role Purpose

As our Social Media Specialist, you will be the day-to-day owner of Neko Health's brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X. You will keep our channels active, on-brand and well-maintained; build genuine connections with our community; and work closely with the content team to ensure social-first content is delivered on time and to a high standard. You will also own our social reporting, acting as the team's go-to person for performance insights, brand sentiment and what's happening across the competitive landscape.

What You'll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months

Channel Management

  • Take full ownership of day-to-day monitoring and maintenance across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X, ensuring accounts are consistently active, on-brand and well-managed.

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of each platform's algorithm, content formats and best practices, and apply this to everything we publish.

Community Engagement

  • Respond to story mentions and content tags, repost to stories, and actively engage in comments under our own content — maintaining a consistent, human and on-brand voice.

  • Build a genuine sense of community around the Neko Health brand, turning followers into advocates.

Content Coordination

  • Work closely with the content team to develop and deliver social-first content that ladders up to our broader marketing and communications objectives.

  • Own the coordination process: manage timelines, ensure content goes through the right review stages, and make sure everything is uploaded correctly and on schedule.

Reporting & Insights

  • Develop and own reporting on content performance and community engagement, making it easy for the wider team to understand what is and isn't working.

  • Serve as the team's go-to for a pulse check on brand reputation across social channels, and stay on top of the latest formats, campaigns and activity from competitors and reference brands.

Requirements

  • Fully fluent across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X — you understand how each platform works, what performs well and why.

  • Highly detail-oriented, with genuine taste and editorial discernment. You know what good looks like and you hold yourself to that standard.

  • Comfortable with metrics: you can pull the numbers, interpret what they mean and communicate conclusions clearly to non-specialists.

  • A natural collaborator who can work effectively across creative, marketing and communications teams.

  • Organised and reliable — you are reliable and take true ownership of your workload.

  • Prior experience managing brand social accounts, ideally with exposure to growing a small audience into a large, international one.

  • Background in health, wellness, technology or consumer lifestyle brands is a plus, though not essential.
