Job Description

Reporting to our Social Content Director, we’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Social Content Manager to join our Emmy Award-winning team, working with one of our partners - a global technology brand and household name. You’ll create and deliver social media content on this key account. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Social Content Creation & Management
    • You will create, curate and schedule compelling content (e.g. posts, videos, infographics, and case studies) tailored to B2B and B2C audiences. 
    • You will brief our designers and editors and work with product marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging, while producing the best social content, under the direction of the channel’s Social Content Director.
    • You will lead the development of the social media presence of our client, helping grow reach and engagement for their social channels with excellent creative and strategy.
  • Social Media Expertise
    • You will ensure best practices are followed on reporting and measurement to improve commercial impact.
    • You will remain up to date with the new trends/behaviours in social media and translate this to your clients in a reactive and relevant way.
    • You will bring your experience and/or an interest in technology, including AI and Cloud computing. This subject matter expertise is vital to the client and this account.
    • You will effectively communicate with technical audiences such as IT decision makers, developers and C-Suite Executives.

Qualifications

  • You will have 2-3 years experience in social media role.
  • You'll bring excellent copywriting ability, and concepting fit for social media.
  • You'll be passionate about social media and tech, and always stays up to date with the latest trends such as Cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML
  • You'll understand platform business managers (i.e Meta business manager, X for business, Snapchat for business, TikTok for business) 
  • You'll have experience creating content for social media: text only posts, static assets, short and long form video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes. 
  • Experience running paid media campaigns - working with media agencies, understanding media goals and paid creative best practices at a national level. 
  • You'll have built online communities, especially for brands, and that understands fandom communities in social spaces.
  • You'll be comfortable talking to our clients by email, call or in-person.
